The topic of the future of Europe was discussed last Friday in the south of Serbia, with highschool students. Activists of the Youth Forum of European Movement in Serbia held another iteration of European classes at the High School of Economics in Krušumlija, Serbia. They discussed recent challenges that European Union is facing, such as populism, consequences of migrant crisis and Brexit, but also possible ways of EU reform with the students who showed special interest in sharing their opinions and experiences, as well as gaining new knowledge. Special part of the workshop was dedicated to the vision of youth on the future inside the European Union, as well as opportunities for young people. When asked what does EU represent in their opinion, they usually responded it is a place of peace, unity, as well as better opportunities for education and more innovation. Also, majority students expressed their support for introducing topics like these in high school curriculums. Upcoming European Classes will be held in May in Čačak.
